We rented kayaks for 2 hours, but we finished the loop in about an hour and 30 min. You could honestly do it in one hour. Renting the kayaks was very simple. Get there early! We got there right at opening time, 8:00 AM, and we didn’t see anyone for the first 30 minutes. Great experience.

We kayaked and saw a dozen manatees, even more big alligators, fish jumping and maybe hundreds of birds. But the biggest surprise were wild monkeys roaming around.

My niece and I had a wonderful experience with Silver Springs Kayaking. The morning started off pretty cold, temps in the 30s but by the afternoon it ended up being the perfect day to take the easy float down the river. We saw plenty of wildlife! It’s a very relaxing guided tour and I highly recommend.
